I just read an article in Mind Body Green titled, "8 Questions To Ask If You Want To Change Your Life" and I just had to post about it! Here are the eight questions:
- Is My Life Fun?
- Am I Waiting for My Life to Begin?
- Do I Have Enough Money?
- Do I Have Enough Friends?
- Do I Feel My Feelings?
- Am I Overthinking Things?
- What Does the Future Hold?
- Where Am I compromised?
I love asking questions. It drives my family and friends a little crazy sometimes, but they are accustomed to it and actually expect it now.
At holidays and dinner parties you can count on a question at your place setting or to be expected to select one from a silver or crystal bowl being passed around the room. Everyone has to share their answer with the group, making for some interesting moments.
Some questions are silly and fun, while others go deep, prodding the recipient to reveal an interesting nugget no one knew about them.
Not sure when it all started - maybe when my close friends, known as the Magnolia's, gave me the "If" Book. It became such a part of me, years later they even made me my own "If" book.
There are so manyquestions I want to ask you, my amazing readers. For now, I'll start with three:
- If you could have any job (besides your current job) what would you do?
- If you could relive one past adventure or an entire year again, which one would it be?
- What breaks your heart?
When curiosity drives us to ask, “what if” and we commit to see where the answer takes us, is really living.
