My new favorite!
Truth is, at this age no one wants to see my belly bare. That said, I love this new, locally made sunscreen I recently found at the Alpharetta Farmers Market.
With so many sunscreens on the market, it's hard to know what’s best. How do you stay protected without covering your body in chemicals? Personally, when it comes to blocking UV rays, I can go a bit crazy. You can often find me walking my dog on a beautiful day with my goofy REI hiking hat, (which my daughter once hid from me in the freezer out of embarrassment). I asked my husband if I could get away with not wearing sunscreen for a 5pm walk. He sweetly suggested I could use a little sun...
Here are 5 things you should know about sunscreen
1. Use a Mineral base natural sunscreen
2. Use makeup with an SPF
3. Use moisturizers and lip balm with SPF
4. More than 50 SPF is not necessary
5. Don’t use spray sunscreens
A warning: if you try Bare Belly Sunscreen, don't keep it next to your roll-on deodorant or you could end up using anti-perspirant for sunscreen!
