Enchanted in Sedona, Arizona.

The Enchantment is in spectacular Sedona, Arizona, and has been on my bucket list for ages. Thanks to an invitation from a wonderful friend I just spent the weekend there. This boutique escape set amidst sacred and spiritual Red Rock mountains exceeded my expectations and overpowered us with its beauty. Maui-Carmel-Aspen kinda breathtaking. Check!

The real gift was the time Whitney and I spent with four special friends creating lifelong memories. It's not the "things" is it? It's the people and experiences, right?

We left behind kids, dogs, work, routines and stepped out of our box in search of adventure and connection. We ate, drank, hiked, relaxed, laughed and learned more about each other, further deepening our strong friendship.

It still amazes me that I can have breakfast in the high desert of Arizona then be home for dinner in Atlanta that night! (and blog in the air on the way).

Why You Should Go

Over 200 fabulous hikes around Sedona. We hiked up and down and all around for more than five hours in two days. Carla our guide taught us about Yuca, Agave, Prickly Pear Cacti, and sandstone. For thousands of years Sedona was sacred ground for native Americans. Now its the same for modern Americans.

Healthy eating and lifestyle. Vegan everywhere! Missed the prickly pear wrap so planning a trip back soon. Chocola Tree Organic Restaurant - a must for vegan lovers!

Stunning views. The one from the Mariposa Restaurant in Sedona may be one of the best dining views in the world.

Clean air. Deep refreshing breaths of clean air!

What Are You Waiting For?

Time is scarce for us. Sedona will remind you of that. It's been there just as it is today for millions of years - and will be long after we are gone.

Make time with friends. Experience different cities, states, countries than your own!
